Ryan Strickland owner and Operator of Strickland's Kennels has a small manageable set up that specializes in the one on one needs of the individual dog. Ryan also includes the owners of the dog in every aspect of the dog's training. Ryan is a fair and honest and has the best interest in the advancement of the retriever breeds. I would highly recommend Strickland's Kennels and do so often for any one with a dog. Ryan trained two Labs for me, a one year old and a 7 year old. These two dogs have personalities different than night and day. The one year old is very laid back and very docile (not a good hunter but great pet) whereas the 7 year old is ready to hunt NOW! Before going to Ryan the 7 year old was not allowed in the house because of her excitement about life. We wish we had done this training with the older dog when she was a puppy, because of her love of the hunt there is no doubt she would have become a master hunter under Ryan's training. We now can sit down to dinner and both dogs will sit on a rug and never bother us. We also trail ride and it is so nice to be able to call the dogs to you for any reason. It is some of the best money I have ever spent and I will definitely do it again on my next dog. ~ Tammy de Varona
